In August 2026, the Kumbakonam Prison Ministry India (PMI) Unit joyfully celebrated PMI Sunday Mass, bringing together volunteers, faithful, and supporters of the Prison Ministry in a spirit of prayer and thanksgiving.
The Eucharistic celebration highlighted the Church’s mission of mercy, compassion, and reconciliation toward prisoners and their families. It served as an opportunity to pray for inmates, prison officials, volunteers, and all those involved in the ministry of rehabilitation and restoration.
