On September 19, 2026, a Medical Camp was organized at the District Jail, Chenglepet, as part of the ongoing efforts of Prison Ministry India – Chenglepet to promote the health and welfare of inmates.
The camp was conducted in the presence of the Superintendent in charge of the Prison, whose support and cooperation contributed to the successful implementation of the programme. The initiative was led by Rev. Fr. Suresh, Coordinator of Prison Ministry India – Chenglepet, who continues to work tirelessly for the care and rehabilitation of prisoners.
The medical camp provided inmates with access to essential healthcare services, medical consultation, and health awareness, helping to address their physical well-being and encourage preventive healthcare practices.
This outreach programme reflects the mission of Prison Ministry India to serve prisoners with compassion and dignity, fostering hope, healing, and holistic rehabilitation.
