
On August 9, 2026, representatives of Prison Ministry India met with the Superintendent of Police and the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Prisons in Coimbatore to discuss arrangements for a proposed Medical Camp for prisoners.
During the meeting, permission was sought to conduct the medical camp, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The discussion focused on ensuring the smooth organization of the programme and strengthening cooperation between the Prison Department and Prison Ministry in promoting the health and well-being of inmates.
The meeting reflected the ministry’s ongoing commitment to providing essential healthcare services and compassionate support to prisoners.
